Symphony In Blue - Japan 7" Single
This is the standard Japanese 7" release for Symphony in Blue - not to be confused with the white label pressing which you can see right here. Commonly referred to as the "Dolphin Sleeve", this is one of the more rarer releases to come by... and also quite expensive these days.
Apart from the record labels, which are considerably different from each other, there aren't any other substantial differences between the standard and white label pressings. The photo insert is virtually identical on both releases - front to back. The standard release vinyl labels were similar to the UK ones at the time.
This one also comes in a green Toshiba EMI company sleeve.

Symphony In Blue - Canada 7" Single (Blue Vinyl)
The Canadian 7" single for Symphony In Blue comes in a plain Harvest logo company sleeve. I really dislike these generic company sleeves and in the past I've pretty much avoided releases in these kind of sleeves - that's how much I dislike them. I've only ever made exceptions in unique or rare cases, like with this release.
The vinyl is a fantastic blue colour, which makes the cheap and nasty sleeve even more of a shame in my opinion. Despite that, this release tends to be sought after by most people and can get costly if you aren't careful.
I've kept one of my old photos for this post so you can see how translucent the colour of the vinyl really is.
