Running Up That Hill - Canada 12" Single

The Canadian release has a very similar picture sleeve to the UK release, but with the addition of a gold/brass border running along 3 of the 4 side on the front. There's also a greyish border on the back of the sleeve.

While the single sleeve is much thicker than the UK release, I actually prefer the UK sleeve over this one.

The record comes in a standard inner plastic sleeve, something that was very common for Canadian 12" singles back in the day. The record labels feature rainbow EMI America labels on both sides.

Running Up That Hill - UK 12" Single

The 12" single has the exact same front and back artwork as the original 7" standard release. While there's also a gatefold 7" release, there is no special release like that for the 12" version.

Out of all the UK 12" releases from Hounds of Love, the 12" sleeve for Running Up That Hill is probably the flimsiest of the lot. It easily damages if you're not careful with it.

The 12" single for Running Up That Hill uses the same blackish/greyish labels and silvery writing as the 7". There are also no messages scratched into the vinyl.
