Suspended In Gaffa - Spanish 7" Single

Spanish release for ‘Suspended in Gaffa’ or, as it's written on the picture sleeve and record ‘Suspendido En Gaffa’.

The front artwork is borrowed from the UK single for ‘There Goes a Tenner’. The Spanish cover is much brighter though, and there's also been some obvious retouching done to the lips.

The artwork on the back of the sleeve is unique to this release, which also includes the misspelled version of ‘Ne T’enfuis Pas’. The sleeve itself has more of a paper quality to it. Paper sleeves have a higher propensity for getting the ring wear on them. That's why if you do collect 7" singles, it's important to properly space them out and not jam them tightly together.

Suspended In Gaffa - Holland 7" Single

This is the Holland 7" single release for Suspended in Gaffa. It's also the fourth and final release for this single. This single also got released in FranceGermany and Spain.

The front of the Holland picture sleeve is very similar to the German and France picture sleeves, except this one doesn't have any kind of a white border around it like the other two do. I probably like this picture sleeve slightly more over the other two, but only because it does have a full picture.

The design layout on the back of the picture sleeve is quite interesting, and I've always felt that the back of any picture sleeve can be just as interesting as the front. Singles from other countries have always interested me a lot, especially if they never got a general release in the UK to start with, or if there was something particularly unique and interesting about them.

The record features a large centre hole with the distribution information in red.

Any of the 7" versions of Suspended in Gaffa can be a bit pricey these days, so save your money if you want to collect them all.

Suspended In Gaffa (German 7" Single)

The German 7" single for Suspended In Gaffa, like the France one, reuses the album artwork, which is a slight letdown. Personally, I think it would have been nicer if either the Germany or the France release could have implemented some different artwork.

The record labels are fairly average, so there isn't really a lot to say about them.

Since Suspended in Gaffa wasn't released as a single in the UK, which is surprising, it's nice to have any of the ones from Germany, France, Holland or Spain. Personally I like the Holland one the best.

Suspended In Gaffa - France 7" Single

I always thought it was a real shame that 'Suspended In Gaffa' never got a single release in the UK, so it's extra nice that it got a release in France. There was also a single release in Germany, Spain and Holland. The France release pretty much reuses the album artwork as its cover, which is a little disappointing in my eyes - especially when they had a really unique bat sleeve for the cover of Breathing when it came out.

The record labels are silver injected moulded ones.

The b-side features the rarely seen 'Dreamtime' track, which still has not seen an official release onto CD to this day.
