Ne T'enfuis Pas - UK 7" Single: Single File First Issue

It seems that I've somehow overlooked ever posting this one, so I've decided to do it now.

This is the first UK pressing of Ne T'enfuis Pas, which was released as part of the Single File box set. As far as I know it's the only UK pressing of this single. The front sleeve has the same artwork as the France cover, which you can see right HERE.

Like the France release, the A Side label lists Ne T'enfuis Pas as a remix. Again, there is nothing different about it. I've heard some people say that the vocals on this release have been brought forward more and that's why it's listed as a remix, but I personally don't hear any difference.

There's also no vinyl inscription on this release.

Ne T'enfuis Pas - Canadian 7" Single

This was originally released as a stand-alone single in France and Canada only, but eventually got a release in the UK as part of the Single File box set. All three releases have the same cover art, but the Canadian cover is a reverse shot.

The back of the sleeve is also different to the France and UK “Single File” releases. The sleeve itself is made from really cheap paper, and I probably dislike Canadian sleeves the most for this reason alone. They seem to damage and discolour more easily than most.

The B-side also differs to the France and UK releases. Dreamtime has only ever seen the light of day on a few vinyl releases to date, and has never officially been released onto CD.

Ne T'enfuis Pas - France 7" Single

The France cover of Ne T'enfuis Pas is exactly the same as the UK cover from the Single File box set - although I think the France cover might be a little more darker in colour.

There's not really much to say about the back of the sleeve.

I kept a small portion of the record in with the labels since that's the only area on the actual record that tells you it was made in France. The labels are silver injected moulded ones, and if you take a look at the label, you will see the word "remix" in brackets next to Ne T'enfuis Pas. This is not a remix version, and neither does it differ to any other version that's out there. I have no idea why they did this, but it's the same.
