The Red Shoes - UK First Issue Pressing

I bought this back in 1994 at HMV - the one in Oxford Street, London. It was the only copy they had in stock, which surprised me, and little did I know then how rare it was going to be. I never opened mine, so it's still factory sealed with the original price sticker of £10.79 on it. I'm not sure why I never opened it. Maybe it's because I had it on CD and didn't feel the need to, or maybe I knew that I would never find one in my own country and wanted to keep it in mint condition. I never knew at that time, or for quite a few years after that how rare this album would become. Vinyl albums were starting to be phased out at that time, and there weren't a lot of copies pressed of The Red Shoes. I feel fortunate I got one.

If you look at the back of the sleeve you can see the plastic is beginning to split apart slightly on the right-hand side, so this will be the very last time I take it out to do any photos/scans of it. The only thing I can tell you about the record, from what I've seen, is that it has fruit labels and "For H" is scratched into the run-off vinyl.
