This is just an update on things as they are at the moment.
I'm currently nearing the end of having all 7" format singles that I've got on this site so far (official releases, interviews, bootlegs, etc) replaced with all new scans. While I'm continuing to finish this up, I'm moving towards getting all CDs and Cassettes redone with all new scans as well. I've started on some of them already.
I also need to point out that a lot of the new scans aren't showing up at all in search engines like Google, or they're taking forever to show. There really isn't anything I can do about this, especially if you're using a search engine to find something in particular. Apparently Google's merge with Picasa has caused this problen for a lot of people who use Blogger, and no matter what you try and do to fix it, it just doesn't fix. The good news is that there isn't a MB limit on here like there used to be, so I can literally add as many scans or photos on here as I like and never run out of storage space.
I am planning to eventually re-do all the photos on here for LPs, 12" singles and other 12" format sleeves as well. However, that might involve taking new and better photos and cropping them to size, as opposed to scanning. Scanning a 12" sleeve in sections and piecing it back together afterwards looks like rubbish - I know because I've tried. Scanning in the record labels would be easy enough, but not the album jackets or inserts, so new photos are probably the way to go with those. I'm still weighing my options on that one before I make my mind up completely about them.
And, of course, I'm still randomly adding new things here and there along the way.
